100% Chance of Snow!

This past weekend at our church they had "Snow Day", an opportunity for the kids to play in snow since Houston doesn't get any the good ole fashioned way. So meanwhile, back in Connecticut while they got plummeted with the over 2 feet of the white stuff, we had to make our own! They brought in trucks that chopped up bags of ice and sprayed it all over the (still green)grass. Think the stuff snow cones are made of. Not exactly the real stuff but nice to play in nonetheless. And the best part for us was that the kids had their fun in it, and then we could leave it behind! No shoveling, snow-blowing, or freezing was involved, thank you very much!
